Saturday, March 12, I received a text from Keith Wills, owner of East Texas Metal Detectors in Gilmer, telling me about a lady trying to find a hidden treasure in her yard.  This lady in fear of the economy had buried $15,000 in her backyard back in 2008. Now, needing the money, she went to dig it up where she thought it was but couldn't find it.  After a little panicking, they brought in a tractor and literally dug up their backyard like they were putting in a swimming pool.  I arrived on location and after about 15 minutes with my CTX 3030 and four dig holes later I found it. It wasn't where she remembered and I told her very rarely does X mark the spot.  They paid me $100 for appreciation for which I was thankful that I could help out. I wish I could have kept the $15,000 but nonetheless, it was still a great find and a great testimony for the hobby.
